How To Install The Facebook API

Finding your Pixel ID and Access Token

Installing the Facebook API to your Convertri funnel pages is easy. All you need is a pixel ID and an Access Token. To find these, log into your Facebook account and go to the Facebook Events Manager here: https://www.facebook.com/events_manager2

  1. Once you’re in the Events Manager, click Settings:

2. Scroll down until you find a pixel ID made of numbers.
3. To find your Access Token, scroll down until you see Generate access token:

4. Click Generate access token and you’ll be shown a long alpha-numeric code.

Integrating The Facebook API

Once you have your Facebook Pixel ID and Access Token, log into your Convertri account and click Account in your dashboard. On the left column, choose Integrations:

Hover over to Facebook Conversion:

Click set up:

Enter your Pixel ID and your Access Token which you generated from the previous step. Click save. You’re done! If the integration is successful, a green checkmark should appear on the Facebook Conversion card.

Please note!

Once you have setup the integration, Convertri will send the following events for all custom domains:

  • Lead and Purchase. Lead will be sent whenever someone signs up through a Convertri form API
  • Purchase will be sent whenever someone buys a product through the Convertri cart. You don’t need to do any setup at our end, it’ll all happen automatically. However, you will need to still configure your domains on Facebook to receive these events as normal.
  • Convertri will send events via both the pixel and the Conversion API, and Facebook will dedupe them if both get through. This means that you can now get far more accurate conversion data to your Facebook ads because browsers can’t block Conversion API events.
