How to Integrate PayPal

PayPal is a service that allows your customers to make payments through your Convertri page. To start, you’ll need to set up your own account at PayPal.com.
Next, you need to generate credentials for the integration with PayPal.
- Go to PayPal Developer and log in.
- Choose whether you want to generate Sandbox (practice) or Live (real sales) credentials. Choosing Sandbox means sales processed by your PayPal checkout won't be real, but you'll be able to test if your checkout is working. It's a good idea to use these at first, and then once you have everything set up, come back to this page and generate Live credentials.
- Click Create App. Enter "Convertri" as its name, and if you're in Sandbox mode, choose a sandbox email to use. Click Create App.
- PayPal will generate you a Client ID. Click Show to display your Secret Key.
Keep that tab open, and then follow these steps to integrate PayPal in Convertri:
- In the Dashboard, click on Account, and then Integrations.
- Scroll down to Payment Processors. Click Setup over the PayPal logo.
- Paste in your Client ID and Secret Key for Sandbox Mode, and Client ID and Secret Key for Live Mode. For more information on PayPal, click the Overview tab.
