Data Layer Reference
Article
A data layer allows you to easily find information and send it to different tools. For example, if you're using Google Tag Manager (GTM), you can have it take actions based on events in the data layer. If you aren't using GTM with Convertri already, see the following tutorial for details:
https://help.convertri.com/category/421-google-tag-manager
A developer can also find events in the data layer and send them to other applications. The information below should be enough for them to access it.
IMPORTANT: personal identifiable information will be added in the data layer. BE CAREFUL with what you do with it, as many analytics apps do not permit PII to be sent to their systems.
Event Clicks
Convertri sends the following events to the data layer:
cvt-click: when someone clicks a button that's set to any mode other than 'Open Checkout'
cvt-lead: when someone signs up through a Convertri form
cvt-initiate-checkout: when someone clicks a button that's set to 'Open Checkout' mode
cvt-purchase: when someone buys a product through the Convertri Cart
