How to Use Form Validation

Article:

Form validation lets you check that the information your customers enter into forms is valid. For example, if you choose to validate an email field, Convertri can auto-detect whether an email address looks real (e.g. if it contains an @ symbol and domain like .com or .co.uk)

  1. In the Page Builder, click on Form Inputs in the Elements tray and click Text Input to add it to your page.
  2. In the Properties panel, click Form Field Settings. (If you haven’t already mapped your form, it’s a good idea to do so now. Click here to learn how.)
  3. Under the validation type dropdown, choose the type of validation you require.
  4. Click Save, and Publish.

Now, when your customers mistype their details, your form will prompt customers to enter valid ones.
