If you want your container panel or individual elements hidden on page load, you can do this quickly and easily. You can choose whether the element starts out hidden, whether its contents are affected and whether your customer is using a desktop, mobile, or both.

  1. If you want your element’s visibility to depend on viewing mode, select your container panel or element and toggle Show on Desktop/Mobile. The option that is greyed out will be the mode where it’s hidden.
  2. If you want your element’s visibility to depend on actions and events you set, e.g. if you want it to appear after a set time or on mouseover, select your container panel or element and click the Start dropdown.
  • Start Hidden (selected element only) - affects only the current element, and means the element will be hidden on page load
  • Start Visible (selected element only) - affects only the current element, and means the element will be visible on page load
  • Start hidden including contents - means the current element and all elements contained within it will be hidden on page load
  • Start visible including contents - means the current element and all elements contained within it will be visible on page load

If you set elements to be hidden on page load, you can configure them to show after a trigger such as click, mouseover or elapsed time: click here to find out how.
