7 Emerging Web Design Trends for 2024 and Beyond

This article discusses emerging web design trends for 2024, emphasizing the importance of creating engaging and immersive user experiences. Among these trends, parallax scrolling is highlighted as a powerful technique that adds depth and interactivity to web pages. This effect allows background images to move at a different speed than foreground content, creating a 3D illusion that enhances storytelling and captivates users. The article suggests that incorporating parallax scrolling can make websites more visually appealing and encourage users to spend more time interacting with content, thereby improving overall engagement and user experience.

On this Day in History

In recognition of spooky Halloween week, it’s intriguing to note that on this day in 1390, the first trial for witchcraft was held in Paris. This event marked a pivotal moment in the history of witch hunts, reflecting the fears and anxieties of the era. The trial not only set a precedent for future accusations but also showcased how belief and superstition can influence societal norms. This dark chapter serves as a reminder of the lasting impact such events can have on justice and community dynamics.

New Features

We are releasing the following features this week:

Favicon at Account & Funnel Level: Users will now have the ability to set favicons at both the account and funnel levels, in addition to the existing option at the domain level. This enhancement aligns with our page settings and allows for more granular control over branding. The favicon hierarchy will be structured as follows: Account > Domain > Funnel, ensuring users can customize their favicons effectively at each level.

Default Styles for Inputs on Page Level: This feature introduces default style settings specifically for form input text, addressing the current limitation where users must manually adjust the style for each form element. By providing a global default option for form inputs, users can easily change placeholder text styles and other settings across all their forms simultaneously, enhancing efficiency and consistency in design.

Pre-Checked Checkbox Fields: This feature allows users to create pre-checked checkbox fields, which can enhance conversion rates, particularly for options like “I would like to receive marketing information.” While pre-checking is restricted by legislation in some regions, this new functionality provides a toggle option in Convertri, defaulted to ‘off’, enabling users to activate it as needed. This gives users greater flexibility in their marketing strategies while encouraging responsible use.

Happy converting!
