You can pass text from a form field to another page as easily as 1,2,3. Here’s How:

1. Set up the form on your Opt-In page so that it redirects to your Thank You page, and then tick the box for 'Pass on submitted form data to Thank You Page'.

2. Select your desired form field element, e.g. 'First Name' and in 'Element Properties Form Field Settings' tick the boxes for 'Required' and 'Pre-fill from Query String Parameter' and type in 'firstname' for the 'Query String Parameter' entry.

3. Save your Opt-In page and go to your Thank You page.

4. Add a text element and you can type something like 'Thanks firstname' or 'Hi firstname' - that's a personal preference.

5. Then highlight the 'firstname' part of the text and in the toolbar where you can change font etc. click 'More'.

6. In this menu click 'Add New' under the 'Dynamic Text' section, this should highlight it a turquoise type colour (don't worry visitors to your page won't see this colour).  You can use this help video as a guide: https://help.convertri.com/article/176-how-to-add-dynamic-text

7. Once you have done this select your text element and go to 'Element Properties' and under 'General Properties' tick the box for 'Pass on URL Parameters'.

8. Save and Publish your Thank You page, and then return to your Opt-In page, re-publish it and test it on the live page.

Once this is all done your Thank You page should now display whatever name your visitors enter in your 'First Name' field on your Opt-In page - Cool right?!
