Video

Article:

You can customize the warning message that is displayed to your prospects if they have tried to submit a form without filling in a required field. You can do this either on the Page Level, Funnel Level, or Account Level.

Page Level

  1. In the page editor go to page settings.

2. On the left hand side select ‘Messages’. Here you will have the option to use the default message, or customise your own. Currently the toggle is set to use the default message.

3. To create your own warning message, turn the 'Use Default' toggle off and enter your customisable warning message.

4. Once you have created your message simply click done and republish your page for the changes to take effect.

Account Level

Click ‘Account’ on the top-menu and select ‘Page settings’ on the left-side menu.

Funnel Level

In this level you will be able to set the page settings - Messages, once for each specific funnel, eliminating the need to repeat the process each time you create a new page within the funnel. It also allows you to customize different defaults for each funnel you create.

To begin, On your Campaign dashboard select any funnel. Inside that funnel click on the ‘Page Settings’ on the left side menu.

NOTE: Editing the Page Settings Validation Messages at either in Account or Funnel Level only affects new pages. Existing pages won’t be changed when you adjust settings on these levels.
