How to Use the Element Tree to Swap Elements

Convertri’s element tree feature is great for a lot of things, and one of these is quickly and easily swapping elements on your page. Rather than using Convertri’s freeform editor to drag and drop elements, you can use the element tree to swap them in a flash.

To do this:

1. Go to the Campaigns dashboard and navigate to the funnel and then the page you wish to use the element tree to edit.
2. Open the editor for the page in question.
3. Click the Editor icon in the top menu.

4. You will now be able to see the Editor modal. In the Elements tab, toggle on Show Element tree

5. When you hover over an element, you will see arrows appear, one pointing down and one up.

6. Clicking on the up arrow, will swap the element with the one above it and clicking on the down arrow to swap it with the element below it.
7. This can be done with whole container elements like panels or if you click the arrow at the end of these elements to unfold them, you can swap elements within the container.

8. When you have swapped the elements you needed to, click Save on the top-right hand side of the page builder.
