How to Clone Elements

Video Tutorial:

Article:

You can clone elements on the same page or onto any other page in any funnel or site on your account, so you can keep your branding on point across the board.

Here’s how to clone an element on the same page:

  1. In the Page Builder, select the element you want to clone.
  2. Click the Clone Element button in the Quick Actions toolbar.

The duplicate element will now appear, and you can position, edit and resize it.

To clone an element to another layer:

  1. In the Page Builder, select the element you want to clone.
  2. Click the dropdown next to the Clone button in the Quick Actions toolbar, and choose Clone Element to a Layer.
  3. Open the dropdown menu, and click on your target layer.

The target layer will now be active, and contain your cloned element.

To clone an element to a different page entirely:

  1. In the Page Builder, select the element you want to clone.
  2. Click the dropdown next to the Clone button in the Quick Actions toolbar, and choose Clone Element to another Page.
  3. Choose the site, funnel, target page and position you want the cloned element to go to, then click Clone.
  4. You’ll need to reopen or refresh your target element in the Page Builder to see your new element, and you can position, edit and resize it any way you like.

When you’re choosing the position of the element on your target page, this is what will happen:

  • Top positions the element at the top of the page
  • Original copies the element’s position from the source page
  • Bottom positions the bottom of the cloned element in line with bottom of the lowest element on the target page

NOTE: If an element with Action and Events on it is cloned, these won't be saved. However, they are saved on templates and pages/funnels added by sharecodes.
