How To Restrict Shipping

In Convertri, you can now restrict certain locations from buying your products if you aren’t able to ship the item to that country.

To set this up:

1. Go to the cart section of Convertri.

2. Then select ‘Products’ from the left hand side.

3. Either create a product or edit a product you have already created.

4. Then select shipping from the left hand side.

5. In order for the shipping restriction option to be available, you will need to enable shipping costs. So if you haven’t already, toggle ‘Add Shipping Cost’ so that it is on and the toggle is blue.

6. Under the ‘Other Regions’ section, turn the toggle off so that it is greyed out. This will mean, that the checkout will only process orders to locations where shipping has been enabled. So, if you only wanted people from the United Kingdom to be able to buy your product, you would need to add them as a new shipping region and then turn off ‘Other Regions’. This would restrict shipping to only the United Kingdom.

If someone tries to buy your product and they are from a restricted shipping area, in the checkout screen they will be presented with the following message:

So there you have it, with Convertri’s shipping restrictions you’re in control of where you ship your products to.
