Adding a Wistia Video to Convertri

There are several options for adding videos to your Convertri page and one which is available to all users is adding a Wistia video. All you need is the URL of your Wistia video and you can quickly and easily add it to your Convertri page.

To do this:

1. Go the Page which you wish to add a Wistia video to and navigate to the Elements tray. 

2. Select Media and the menu below will appear, select the option Wistia Video.

3. A video player will appear on your page which you can resize and move around like any other element.

4. The Wistia Properties box below will appear which will allow you to link to your specific video and edit the player itself.

5. The top option is where you can paste in the URL of your desired Wistia video.

6. The option below this is Autoplay. This decides whether your video starts playing when the page loads. When you toggle on autoplay with Convertri, this doesn’t mean that all browsers will allow a video to autoplay with sound. This can be very annoying, but unfortunately is unavoidable and can’t be edited. We have created a handy list of what operating systems show your user, depending on the browser. 7. Below this is Play in Loop. This means your video will keep repeating one it has ended. This can be toggled on or off.

8. Next is Mute, to decide whether your video will play with sound. Muting a video makes it more likely to be allowed to Autoplay by the browser it is being viewed in.

9. As the warning message in the Wistia Properties screenshot shows, any other video option editing needs to be done directly within Wistia itself and then saved.
