There are several options for adding videos to your Convertri page and one which is available to all users is adding a YouTube video. All you need is the URL of a YouTube video and you can quickly and easily add it to your Convertri page.

To do this:

1. Go to the Page which you wish to add a YouTube video to and navigate to the Elements tray.

2. Select media and the menu below will appear, select the final option, YouTube Video.

3. A video player will appear on your page which you can resize and move around like any other element.

4. The YouTube properties box below will appear which will allow you to link to your specific video and edit the player itself.

NOTE: Your video needs to set to Public on YouTube to be able to embed it to your page

5. The top option is a box where you can paste in the URL of your desired YouTube video.

6. The option below this is Autoplay. This decides whether your video starts playing when the page loads. When you toggle on autoplay with Convertri, this doesn’t mean that all browsers will allow a video to autoplay with sound. This can be very annoying, but unfortunately is unavoidable and can’t be edited. We have created a handy list of what operating systems show your user, depending on the browser. Click here to see it: Different Browsers' and Operating Systems' Autoplay Settings.

7. Below this is Play in Loop. This means your video will keep repeating once it has ended. This can be toggled on or off.

8. Next is Mute, to decide whether your video will play with sound. Muting a video makes it more likely to be allowed to Autoplay by the browser it is being viewed in.

9. Finally, Show Playback Controls decides whether your user will be able to see the menu to pause, play or skip through the video. You may want to turn this off so they have to watch the whole of your sales video and it is viewed how you wanted it to be. It’s up to you!

Once you have edited these features then you are ready to publish your page and view your YouTube video!
