How to Add a File for Download

If you want to let your visitors download a file with a single click - such as a lead magnet on a thank you page for example - it’s as easy as adding a Button.

1. In the Page Builder, add a button by clicking Form Elements, then ‘Button’ , or click an existing button to edit it.

   

2. With your Button selected, go to Button Settings in the Properties panel. In the Button Mode dropdown menu, choose Download.
3. Click the folder icon to go to your File Library. Choose the domain you want to upload your file to, then click Upload. Locate your file on your computer, and click Open. Click on the file in the File Library, and click Select.

4. In your Button’s Properties panel, toggle ON ‘Force Download on Click’ to allow your user’s browser to open the file according to their settings.

   

Now, all your visitor needs to do is click the button and the file will download to their computer. Awesome!

NOTE: This feature is designed for visitors to download files from your site. It is not meant for hosting sitemaps, CSS files, or videos for display on your page.
